The Toyota Museum in Torrance, CA houses a collection of milestone vehicles representing Toyota's history in the U.S. It is valued at over $17 million, and includes a variety of vehicles dating from 1958 to present, as well as a considerable assortment of motorsports vehicles. Opening in January 2000, it is the only Toyota Museum outside Japan; the Toyota Automobile Museum is located in Nagoya, Japan.

The museum is open to the public, with reservations required. With the 2016 World Endurance Championship kicking off in less than a month, Toyota has just unveiled its newest Le Mans Prototype racer. Forget the Prius, this is the hybrid that we want in our garage. Replacing the TS040 Hybrid Racecar from last year, Toyota is introducing the TS050 Hybrid, which will take on other LMP1 Hybrid racers from Porsche and Audi. This is the third car Toyota has built for the World Endurance Championship’s top LMP1 class, and this is the car that carries the hopes for another season championship.

Ding Dong, Scion is dead....Less than six weeks after Toyota pulled the plug, and little else left to do but to clean the carpets and lock the doors, the transition of Scion products to Toyota has begun. The public debut will take place at next week's New York Auto Show, and sales begin this fall. The Scion iM will become the Toyota Corolla iMThe Scion iA will become the Toyota Yaris iA. The tC coupe has been discontinued. Last but not least, the Scion FR-S will become the Toyota 86.
