Jack Harvey had a stellar run in the junior categories of open-wheel racing on his way up to theNTT INDYCAR SERIES. He’s a former British F3 champ and is a winner on both the oval androad course at Indianapolis in the INDY NXT by Firestone series. In the NTT INDYCARSERIES, he spent the majority of his time at Meyer Shank Racing before he moved to the RahalLetterman Lannigan team. Unfortunately, the promise showed at MSR was never realized atRLL. In 2024, Dale Coyne rang up Harvey to offer him a ride which he happily took alongside arevolving line-up of co-drivers. We caught up with him at the 2024 Acura Grand Prix of LongBeach where he was celebrating his birthday and his new ride. In this interview, he talks aboutthe importance of how to develop relationships within a team. He also recalls the incredible runto be the final Indy 500 qualifier the year prior. Fast forward to 2025 and he’s now a pit reporteron the Fox TV race broadcasts, however, he’ll also be back behind the wheel for this year’sIndianapolis 500 with Dreyer and Reinbold Racing with Cusick Motorsports. A talented driver, atrue gentleman of the sport, and also quite talented behind the microphone, Jack Harvey is one towatch both on the track and off. Enjoy!

Jack Harvey waves to the fans moments before the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.
With the right front tire lifting under extreme cornering into the deceptively fast Turn 9 at Long Beach, Harvey knows how to push hard behind the wheel.
Using all the steering lock available to get through the hairpin at Long Beach, the opposite will be required soon at Indianapolis. Very small steering inputs to the left will be all that’s required to get around the two and a half mile “Brickyard.”
Right off the bat, Harvey has been comfortable behind the microphone and on TV for the Fox Sports broadcasts. As a current driver, he has personal relationships with most of the paddock and that insider’s access comes through in his interviews.
