For anyone who grew up in Southern California or Indianapolis, the Agajanian name is synonymous with auto racing. ASCOT Raceway in Gardena was a staple in dirt oval racing for decades. The Agajanian family were the promoters of that prolific race track from the early days until its closure. In Part One, JC Agajanian Jr. gives us a fascinating look into how his family got involved in auto racing, some of the famous drivers that drove for his dad, and he also weaves these stories throughout a timeline from the 50’s through today and even a look into the future. An incredibly entertaining guest with a tremendous amount of knowledge in this sport, you’ll find yourself wanting to hear more from JC. Good news we’ll have him back for Part Two next week. Enjoy!

NOTE: Turkey Night at the Ventura Fairgrounds will be coming up on Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.
