In last week’s podcast, we learned how Lyn St. James started with humble beginnings and progressed to the highest levels of professional auto racing. This week St. James will tell us about the Women in Motorsports North America program. From the interesting origin of WIMNA, to where they’re going in the future. The bottom line is that this organization is designed to advance opportunities for women throughout the motorsports industry. Their big event of the year is the Women with Drive Summit III coming up on November 7-8, 2023 in Avondale, Arizona. For more information on the summit, go to: www.womenwithdrivesummit.com. For more information on the organization, go to: www.womeninmotorsportsna.com. Women have played a key role in motorsports for many years in a multitude of roles. St. James (as usual) is at the forefront of helping drive the return on investment for those she works with. Enjoy!

Note: Lyn St. James will be part of a panel discussion at the Petersen Automotive Museum on May 24th, 2023 – “A Tribute to Paula Murphy.” There will be a screening of the Paula Murphy: Undaunted documentary, followed by the panel discussion and a silent auction. Paula Murphy also broke barriers for women in motorsports. She set multiple land speed records, was the first woman to drive a jet dragster and much more. This will be a great opportunity to see her and St. James in person and to hear some great stories. For ticket information visit: A Tribute to Paula Murphy at the Petersen

Lyn St. James continues to make her mark in professional motorsports. These days she works to help other women succeed in all aspects of the auto racing industry.
