Jason Hart is a championship winning race car driver and has raced and won in multiple classes. His background is incredibly diverse, racing sprint cars and all manner of sports cars, including a Ferrari at the 24hrs of Le Mans. He’s even won his class in the Baja 1000! We caught up with Jason at the 2023 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach where he was competing in the Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America Series. His story of perseverance in racing to make it as a professional is inspiring and raw at the same time. If he’s on track, you can count on him to be in the fight near the front of the field. Enjoy!

Note: His weekend at Long Beach didn’t go well as he was caught up in a Turn 8 shunt that ended his weekend prematurely. Later in the season he scored a win at the historic Watkins Glen track in upstate New York. For more information on Jason, please visit: JasonHartRacing.com

Jason Hart is a winning race car driver in multiple classes of cars.

Hart contributes a lot of his success in the Porsche Carrera Cup to his engineer, Owen Hayes (L).

Hart leads another Pro driver around the tricky Turn 10 complex at Long Beach. The Porsche series has Pro, Pro-Am and Am drivers in the field.

The Porsche Carrera Cup GT3 car has a lot of tire on the ground, large rear diffuser and substantial rear wing. Here’s Hart in Turn 10 making the most of the grip he has.

With 35 cars entered in the Porsche Carrera Cup race at Long Beach, Hart was never alone. Here, he’s the meat in a GT3 sandwich. Unfortunately, these close quarters would eventually knock him out of the race. . .
